What this policy covers

File Toolbox (the site at file.manqiong.com) provides online image and PDF tools. This policy explains what data is involved when you use it, how that data is handled, and what you can do about it.

The site requires no sign-up and no login, so we hold no account details, phone number or email address for you. That shapes the whole document: there is very little to handle, and the handling is straightforward.

Files you upload

When you use a tool, your file is uploaded to our server for processing. That step is necessary to produce a result, and it runs entirely in local programs on our own server.

• Uploaded files and generated results stay on the server for 2 hours, then are deleted automatically — both the database record and the file on disk.
• Files are used only to carry out the operation you asked for. They are not analysed, not repurposed, and not used to train anything.
• Files are never handed to a third-party service. There is no external content recognition or AI endpoint involved.
• Files are not published publicly. Download links are not indexable by search engines and do not appear in any listing.
• Please download results before they expire. Once expired, the files are gone and cannot be recovered.

Visit analytics

The site uses Baidu Analytics to understand traffic, which tells us which tools need work. It records things like page address, referrer, device type, browser and approximate region. It is not linked to your identity and does not touch the contents of your files.

Baidu Analytics uses cookies or similar technology to tell visitors apart. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time; doing so does not affect the tools.

Advertising and cookies

The site may display advertising served by third-party advertising services, such as Google and its partners. Those services may use cookies or similar technology to show ads based on your earlier visits to this and other websites.

What those advertisers collect and how they use it is governed by their own privacy policies. We cannot read the contents of those cookies, and we do not receive information that identifies you from them.

If you would prefer not to see personalised ads, you can opt out: manage Google’s personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com, or visit aboutads.info to opt out of personalised advertising from participating third-party vendors. Blocking third-party cookies in your browser works too.

What this site does not do

• We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not pass it to data-broker services.
• We do not build profiles from your uploads or browsing, and we do not run ads targeted at you as an individual.
• We do not keep user files long-term. This is not a cloud drive, and there is no hosting or file-sharing feature.
• We do not collect contacts, photo libraries or location in the background. The page only reads the specific files you choose to hand it.

Security and transfers

All traffic is sent over HTTPS, so uploads and downloads are encrypted in transit. The server applies access controls and scheduled cleanup to reduce the risk of unauthorised access to stored files.

That said, no online service can promise absolute security. Please avoid uploading highly sensitive documents such as identity papers, bank cards or medical records. If you must handle those, use software on your own machine.

Your choices

• Prefer not to upload: processing needs the file on our server, and there is no purely local mode. If that is a problem, a desktop tool is the better fit.
• Prefer not to be counted: enable Do Not Track or use a tracker-blocking extension, which will stop the analytics script.
• Prefer no personalised ads: use the links in the advertising section above, or block third-party cookies.
• Want an uploaded file gone: no action needed — it is deleted after 2 hours. You can also email us to request earlier deletion.

Updates and contact

If the site changes in a way that affects this policy — a new analytics service, a new ad format — this page is updated and the revision date below changes with it.
